EES undertook field trials to measure the performance of a range of standby power controllers for a range of private clients to assess their performance under the Victorian Energy Efficiency Targets Scheme operated by the Essential Services Commission in Victoria. Ongoing through 2011 and 2012.

Analysis of assessment tool options for the disclosure of the sustainability of Victorian homes

The focus of this study was on scoping a cost effective tool to measure residential dwelling sustainability performance in the context of Victoria’s existing residential building stock. This research provided the Victorian Government with an improved understanding of the options, opportunities, barriers, indicative costs and potential benefits associated with a mandatory scheme of disclosure at point of sale and lease of the sustainability of residential dwellings (with a focus on energy efficiency) (2011).

Energy Label Labelling Artwork Preparation

Sub-contracted to: Winton Sustainable Research Strategies and DCCEE Client: Department of Climate Change and Energy Efficiency Since 2000, EES has prepared artwork for all energy labels for regulated products. This includes preparation of all files in Adobe Illustrator and preparation of EPS files for inclusion in published standards and focus groups. Includes Energy Label Redesign Options for 10 star labels (ongoing).
